Engagement · Tomisha + Kyle

Had the wonderful opportunity to photograph a buddy of mine pop the big question to his high school sweetheart on a calm San Francisco evening in Golden Gate Park. It’s not every day that I have the opportunity to photograph a proposal for two people that I shared a number of important years of my life with, so it was extra special when Kyle first contacted me to start planning for this special day. From high school sweethearts to now a newly engaged couple, it’s been quite the journey seeing their story unfold. Congratulations, Tomisha + Kyle!

Engagement · Francia + Leo

First off, I hope everyone had a safe and smooth transition into the new year! 2017 was filled with tons of great memories, but I can't help but feel pure excitement for the travels I have lined up for this first half of 2018! That's all I will say for now... You'll just have to wait and see where my travels take me in the near future!

First engagement session of the new year was definitely a fun one -- can't ever go wrong with beautiful weather and beautiful locations, especially when a couple is as fun-loving as the one I had the pleasure of working with. Francia and Leo were naturals, and their two dogs were absolute sweethearts. Clairon Alley in the Mission, in particular, made for some awesome art-inspired shots, adding a grungier-vibe to the mix of images we took that day. We'll be revisiting them soon, only next time will be on their wedding day day in August of this year!

Engagement · Camille + Angel

Having just photographed an engagement session for two USF alumni in April (and, not to mention, with their wedding coming up very soon), the last thing on my mind was when the next recently-graduated USF couple would contact me to have their engagement/wedding photos taken. We're all still pretty young, after all, and it's not too often that a couple in their early-to-mid-20's decides to get married. That is, until Camille contacted me a few weeks after because her now-fiancé, Angel, had just proposed! Camille and I graduated from USF in the same class (c/o 2015), while Angel had graduated the year before us. I had never met Angel until the engagement session, but moments in to the photoshoot, it was apparent just how much love he has for Camille, and likewise - how much love she has for him. I'm excited to say that I'll be photographing their wedding in Spring '18 in Camille's hometown, Las Vegas, NV -- can't wait!

Engagement · Chasi + Bernardo

Most engagement sessions only demand 1-2 locations max, but given the rare lack of traffic in San Francisco on a nice, cool Sunday in April, it only made sense to take advantage of what we were given – allowing us to add the lovely SF Embarcadero into the mix. Chasi and Bernardo both graduated from the University of San Francisco, the school that I am also an alumnus from(!), so it was definitely a joy being able to hear their stories and have the opportunity share my own. Stoked that I'll be able to photograph their wedding in the coming months, as well!
